Why Was Georgia Arrested ?
The hottest show on streaming is at Netflix and has captivated the country.
Why was Georgia arrested during her wedding? It doesn’t make any sense. Moreover, it’s just not the way police operate. Firstly, they would’ve brought her in for questioning. Especially being the mayor’s wife! But furthermore let’s get to the issue of Georgia. Who remains so nervous about becoming caught. In addition, keeping her web of lies secret. As a result, committing murder even if it’s a mercy kill it just doesn’t make sense with her character it’s too hard to suspend disbelief for that subplot.
Yes she wanted to be friends with her one time enemy and accuse her of money laundering!
However committing murder with her son in the house is just not a likely scenario for this character it really does not weave into the web of who Georgia is in the show and whether you attribute it to lazy writing or incompetent writing quite frankly it was a mistake for the producers and show runners to write in this part of the plot.
Ginny and Georgia is a wonderful addition to the Netflix lineup; it brings laughter and family values with an hour of darkness following our protagonist Georgia around. Furthermore the mother-daughter dynamic between Jenny and Georgia is wonderful. The two of them represent again and yang opposites however containing similar parts of each other and the times switching sides between the well behaved one and the one who breaks the rules. It’s a pivot that provides a very interesting facet to the Ginny and Georgia show.
However, one of the defining characteristics of this wonderful show becomes the ensemble cast. An ensemble cast that becomes written very well where we find attachment. And get to know many characters beyond the leads. We find ourselves rooting and rooting against many minor characters.
Like the show the sopranos Ginny and Georgia is constantly introducing new characters and creating attachments between the viewer and the characters.
In conclusion, despite the unexpected arrest of Georgia at the wedding. Which doesn’t fit into her character the cliffhanger at the end of season two became well done in itself. Leaving if he was wanting war and excited for season three. However, suffocating the dying cancer patient with a pillow is just not in the wheelhouse of George’s character and to me represents lazy or poor writing on behalf of the show. Lastly, despite this flaw Ginny and Georgia is still in a A+ show that in my opinion is must see television!
