Why does Dr. Strange have a third eye?

In Marvel Comics, Strange’s third eye is a manifestation of the Eye of Agamotto. Introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a containment vessel for the Time Stone.

What is Doctor Strange’s power?

Firstly, Doctor Strange is a phenomenal surgeon, doctor and overall brilliant individual. But, as a result of a car crash, he losses his best physical assets. His hands. Certainly Babe Ruth could not swing without properly working hands. So we understand the pain the doctor felt. Its hard to do almost any job, moreover, with poorly functioning hands. Anyway, Strange travels to the Far East. He met a man at a basketball court who told him there he could find the cure for his hands. And he could gain total functionality of them again. In the Far East Strange meets a cult of magical sorcery who work to defend the world from evil.

There he trains to become a ‘Master of the Mystic Arts.’

For whatever reason, Doctor Strange becomes phenomenally powerful. Furthermore, his magical abilities enable him to skillfully conjure myriad spells. Strange uses his spells to bind opponents. And create complex shields and barriers, among many other uses for both defense and attack. In addition, the spells enable him to jump through dimensions.

Lastly, we love both movies! A+ Movie Review.
