What is the best meme stock?
Will research on the world reveal prediction value? Is there discernible value from creating a stock index from these stocks?
Analysis of the Rolling Beta of our ‘Meme Stock Index’ or MS Index vs Other Indexes
– The line curves represent the prices over time for the S&P500 and Russell2000.
– S&P500 prices are represented by blue line curves.
– RUSSELL2000 prices are represented by green line curves.
– Vertical bars in each graph represent a date where there was a change of greater than 30% in the MS Index beta relative to the beta of another index.
– For both indexes (S&P500 and RUSS2000) we conducted research on their relative beta compared to the MS Index using both 30-day and 60-day linear regressions.
– We also experimented with different time-windows for rolling beta analysis. These windows were 1, 3, and 5 day time periods.
