Pelion Woman Identified in Fatal Lexington County Crash
LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC — Authorities have identified a 46-year-old woman from Pelion who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on South Lake Drive on Saturday.
According to Corporal Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:20 a.m. near Bluefield Road. A 2016 Dodge van traveling west on South Lake Drive collided with a 2019 Dodge pickup truck traveling east. The collision left the Pelion woman dead and three others injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash as they work to determine the circumstances leading up to the fatal collision.
