It is with immense sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Vincent Dow, age 65, Bonnie Dow, age 66, Hope Oakgrove, age 9, and Charlotte White, age 9, who lost their lives in a devastating highway accident near Floodwood, Minnesota, on Wednesday afternoon, August 14, 2024.
Vincent and Bonnie were beloved members of their community, known for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to family and friends. Hope Oakgrove and Charlotte White were two vibrant young girls whose bright futures were tragically cut short. All four were traveling in a Honda Pilot, stopped on Highway 2 due to construction, when a semitruck traveling at highway speeds failed to slow down, causing a fatal collision that claimed their lives.
Vincent and Bonnie were cherished by those who knew them, and their loving spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by family and friends. Hope and Charlotte were adored by all who knew them, bringing joy and light to the world around them.
The tragic loss of these four beautiful souls has left their families and community devastated. In the wake of this heartbreaking event, their loved ones ask for privacy as they mourn and remember the cherished lives of Vincent, Bonnie, Hope, and Charlotte.
