It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steve LaRoy Vance, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 68. Steve was a longtime resident of Stacy, MN, having moved to the area in 2006. Born in 1955 in St. Paul, MN, Steve was raised in a close-knit family and grew up attending St. George Greek Orthodox Church. He attended Johnson High School, where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a love for his community.
Throughout his life, Steve was known for his kindness, humor, and strong work ethic. He took great pride in his family and his community, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Steve will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His memory will be honored at a celebration of his life on September 21, from 2 pm to 6 pm at Bald Eagle-Otter Lake Regional Park, located at 5800 Hugo Rd, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. All who knew Steve are welcome to attend and share in the joy of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made in Steve’s honor. His impact on those around him will never be forgotten, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
