Sivan Mahadevan, 1964 – 2024
It is with profound sadness that Rebellion Research announce the passing of Wall Street star Sivan Mahadevan on September 1, 2024, at the age of 60.
Sivan was a beloved husband, father, friend, and colleague, admired for his kindness and dedication. Born in San Diego and raised in Los Angeles, Sivan earned his B.S. in Computer Science from UC Irvine and an M.S. from Columbia University, where he met his wife, Devika.
Moreover, Sivan enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career in finance, working at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley, where he led various teams in credit research, risk management, and financial analytics. In addition, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and was inducted into the UC Irvine Computer Science Hall of Fame in 2018. Furthermore, Sivan becomes survived by his wife Devika. And, lastly, his two sons, Ishaan and Amaan.
A memorial service will become held on Tuesday, September 3rd, at Barrett Leber Funeral Home in Tenafly, NJ.
