HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred just after midnight on Saturday. The incident involved a vehicle striking a bicyclist near 605 Albany Avenue.
The victim, identified as 27-year-old Rosevelt Vann Jr. of East Hartford, was found in the roadway with severe injuries. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to police, the vehicle involved in the crash was described as a black Infiniti sedan, which fled the scene heading east on Albany Avenue and then south on Garden Street.
