Rebellion Research Names Mark Fleming-Williams as European Data Mind of the Year 2025
Rebellion Research is proud to announce that Mark Fleming-Williams, Head of Data Sourcing at Capital Fund Management (CFM), has been named the European Data Mind of the Year 2025. He will receive the award on December 3rd at the London Stock Exchange’s U.S. Headquarters during the Wall Street Quant Awards and Generative AI Summit.
Based in Paris, Fleming-Williams has become one of the most influential leaders in the world of alternative data and quantitative research. At CFM, he oversees the identification and integration of innovative data sources that enhance model accuracy and trading efficiency. His work bridges the gap between deep technical insight and real-world application, setting a high bar for data-driven investing across Europe.
Before joining CFM, he held key roles at Exabel and Stratfor, where he built his reputation for sharp analysis and creative use of information. He is also the creator and host of The Alternative Data Podcast, a globally recognized forum exploring the future of data in finance.
Educated at IE School of Science and Technology and Leeds University Business School, Fleming-Williams has consistently pushed boundaries in machine learning, analytics, and market structure.
