North Beach Atlantic City Looks To Become New Economic Heart And Soul Of AC After the Revel Casino closed in 2014, North Beach Atlantic City became ghost town. Furthermore, the Trump Taj Mahal was on its last legs and about to close. In addition, The Showboat Casino had shut down. Many felt that was an unwarranted move by Apollo Investments and their holding company Caesar’s.
However, now times are changing for N. Beach as it seeks to become the hottest part of Atlantic City.
Of course, ask any manager from the new Hard Rock Atlantic City and they will tell you it has already become the hottest part of the town.
Atlantic City is broken up into three gambling areas:
Firstly, the Marina District which includes Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and Golden Nugget Atlantic City.
Secondly, the Boardwalk Midtown District has Bally’s Atlantic City, Caesars Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City.
Lastly, the N. Beach Distric area of AC which includes the Ocean Casino Resort, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Resorts Casino Hotel as well as non-gaming entities Showboat Atlantic City and the tourist’s fan favorite, the Steel Pier.
Hard Rock President Joe Lupo said, “We are pleased that the north end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk “North Beach” continues to lead the market, with Hard Rock Atlantic City, Ocean Casino Resort and Resorts showing the majority of the increase in comparison to 2019.” In addition, “This positive growth shows the importance of investing in the city and that working collaboratively together can have a positive impact in our community.”
