Owner and Trading Manager of MAGNELIBRA CAPITAL ADVISORS. Author of the newsletter, MAGNELIBRA’s Econemotions which strives to turn complex financial marketplace concepts into everyday situational circumstances to promote higher learning and a proper understanding of financial futures trading and our current monetary system.
Mike spent over 2 decades trading U.S. cash treasuries, financial futures and options. He began his trading career with Transmarket Group, one of Chicago’s most predominant proprietary trading firms, spending nearly 12 years there, becoming one of their largest bond traders. He started Magnelibra Capital Advisors as an NFA Registered CTA in order to bring a real-life trading presence to a wider audience.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from De Paul University in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration degree from The Illinois Institute of Technology. He is the proud father of seven children and an avid study of human nature and its endless quest to make order out of chaos.
