Marisa Maleck was a star. Friend, lawyer and partner at King & Spalding (kslaw.com). Prior Marisa worked for Gibson Dunn.

Moreover, originally growing up in western New England in the town of West Springfield, Marisa had a deep love for the western Massachusetts area. Fulfilling her dream, Marisa attended locally prestigious Amherst College before eventually going into law school at The University of Chicago Law School.

At Amherst College Marisa was passionate about Conservatism, her faith in Catholicism and learned all there was to know about politics and the art of ruling. Marisa attended mass every Sunday at the college chapel.

Marisa was a fan and student of Amherst College law classes and particularly, Professor Hadley Arkes and eventually would clerk for the Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Marisa was an avid supporter of the Committee on the American founding, the conservative think tank founded by Professor Arkes. In addition, the The Federalist Society, where “Marisa played a critical role in helping to launch our Faculty Division.”

Additionally, at K&S Marisa focused on “litigation, regulatory matters and public policy, with a focus on tech, ecommerce, telehealth, digital health, consumer goods and services, independent marketing organizations, and cannabis.”

In conclusion, Marisa loved living in Washington DC. Lastly, Marisa will be missed by all who knew her.
