It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Tapp, aged 64, of Oregon City, who tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, near McMinnville, Oregon. Jeffrey was a passenger in a pickup truck traveling eastbound on Oregon 18 when the vehicle crossed the center lane into oncoming traffic, resulting in a devastating collision with a westbound pickup.
Jeffrey was known for his kind and gentle spirit, a man who deeply valued his family and friends. His loss leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him.
The driver of the eastbound pickup, Richard McAdams of Oregon City, survived the crash and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident.
