It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jay T. Zeivel, aged 66, of Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, who tragically lost his life in an ATV accident on Sunday, August 25th, 2024. The crash occurred on Lakewood Road near Sand Lake Road in the town of Cassian when Jay missed a curve and struck a telephone pole.
Despite the best efforts of witnesses who attempted life-saving measures, Jay passed away at the scene. No other passengers or vehicles were involved in the incident, which remains under investigation.
Jay was known for his love of the outdoors and his adventurous spirit. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone who lived life to the fullest. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but the memories of his warmth, kindness, and zest for life will remain with them forever.
