Born on June 6, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Starlene Johnson and James Thompson, JaMontez was educated in the Metro Nashville Public Schools and worked in a local warehouse. His vibrant smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, his children Ivy, Jarmaria, and J’Ru, and a large, loving extended family. He was predeceased by several close relatives, including his brother Craig.
