Of course, China is no stranger to copying American and European design, from the new F-35 aircraft to the Range Rover. Both, of these respective brands have Chinese versions circulating.
In fact, the Chinese version of the F-35, the Shenyang J-31 is practically indiscernible from the American F-35. From the smallest superficial features of the tails and wings to the performance itself.
The Range Rover clone from Hunkt Canticie(pictured below), for sale in the Chinese market looks almost identical to the famous British SUV. Furthermore, the new model is manufactured by none other than Zotye Auto. In addition, which is, probably the Chinese car brand most infamous for copying American and European car designs.
But, for a global name such as Honda to so blatantly copy another automaker is a rare move! Moreover, it has definitely caught the auto community’s attention. Perhaps going forward, corporate copying is just a way of life?
