Yes. DeSales University is an NCAA Division I school.
Its athletic teams compete as the DeSales Bulldogs in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), specifically the MAC Freedom for most sports.
One important distinction: DeSales is Division III, not Division I. I misspoke above if I implied otherwise.
- NCAA: Division III
- Conference: Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)
- Nickname: Bulldogs
- Location: Center Valley, Pennsylvania
- Football: No varsity football program
So if you’re comparing DeSales with schools such as Villanova, Penn, or other Division I universities, DeSales is at a different NCAA athletic level.
