Patrice Kiener is a French #datascientist, specialized in analyzing industrial and financial data in complex environments, using the most advanced techniques of artificial intelligence and machine learning. He is the founder of INMODELIA, a consulting firm dedicated to helping the industry in their “big data” challenges. He is a contributor to the R software, where he created several modules and maintains three packages in CRAN.

His expertise ranges from chemical analysis (tracking the origin of metals and mining products), optimization of chemical processes, environmental modeling (prediction of water supply), medical devices, extreme risk in financial markets, etc. Prior to that, he was a senior manager in NETRAL, the editor of NEURO ONE, still considered today one of the best neural network software for time series models and studies, and actively participated in several state and EU supported industry-university partnership projects. He holds an MS degree in food engineering, where he started his career in France and in Asia (Japan, China).
