Victim Identified in Fatal Pittsburgh Shooting
Pittsburgh, PA – The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood as Gavin Yarbough, 21, of Braddock Hills.
The incident occurred late Monday night when Pittsburgh Public Safety officials responded to a ShotSpotter alert shortly before 11 p.m. on the 100 block of Meadow Street, where a crime scene was discovered.
Yarbough was transported to a hospital in a private vehicle but tragically succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving.
As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Pittsburgh Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
