Flyjets Unveils Secondary Exchange to Boost Peer-to-Peer Jet Charter Market
Auto, Aviation & Transportation News
Flyjets, the digital charter aviation platform, is expanding its ecosystem with the upcoming launch of a secondary exchange designed to revolutionize how travelers access and share private aviation services. The new exchange will operate alongside the company’s primary marketplace, which currently offers real-time charter availability at wholesale rates directly from aircraft providers.
This secondary exchange will allow users to buy, sell, and bid on unused jet card hours, extra seats on private charter flights, and previously purchased empty-leg segments. Flyjets is integrating real-time bidding and time-based auction features into both its mobile and web-based applications, making private jet access more dynamic and potentially more affordable.
Jessica Fisher, Flyjets’ Founder and CEO, emphasized the platform’s broader vision: “Now that we’re offering both automated charters and a peer-based exchange, we’re positioned to help increase aircraft utilization across the charter aviation space.”
The new marketplace is also expected to support emerging air mobility systems by allowing users to coordinate travel together on shared routes. Users will be able to post and book flights, submit bids, make instant purchases, and share itineraries with others — all within the app.
Flyjets aims to reshape how private aviation is accessed and utilized, making it more efficient, connected, and accessible.
