Ethereum Value : Understanding The Ethereum Value Proposition Many engineers feel that Ethereum is their favorite favorite blockchain.
Especially Ethereum 2.0 which fixes many of those problems that professor Liebau described.
Moreover, it shifts Ethereum to a proof-of-stake (PoS) framework.
A proof-of-stake (PoS) framework is significantly more environmental friendly and sustainable than the original PoW.
Ethereum has extensive security enhancements that are much more exhaustive than any other smart-contract supporting blockchain.
In addition, Ethereum 2.0 also improves scalability by speeding up transactions which makes it much faster than any other blockchain
And of course it has probably the largest open-source community and support.
Moreover, most decentralized applications, including very popular tokens and memecoins, as well as NFTs, are built on the Ethereum blockchain, and I expect that it will continue to grow.
Furthermore, Ethereum has the capability to support all of these applications efficiently and securely. As a result, this makes it the easiest to use and most flexible/versatile for whatever project you are doing.
In conclusion, Ethereum may not be perfect, but we are very optimistic on the ethereum blockchain.
