Jose and Daniel were enjoying time together on a 2018 Yamaha personal watercraft when their vessel tragically struck a seawall in Marathon, Florida, just before 7 p.m. Despite the efforts of nearby neighbors and good Samaritans who jumped into the water to help, both Jose and Daniel succumbed to their injuries.
Originally from Miami, the Dominguez family had recently moved to Marathon, where they were quickly embraced by their community. Jose was a loving father and devoted family man who cherished his time with Daniel, a bright and joyful young boy who brought light into the lives of all who knew him.
