A Poplar Bluff woman, Crystal L. Rulio, tragically lost her life following a two-vehicle collision involving a motorized bicycle in Butler County, Missouri. The accident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, September 25, on MO 53 within the Poplar Bluff city limits, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash took place when a 2023 Colorway motorized bicycle, operated by Rulio, collided with the side of a 2020 Ford F150 at an intersection. After the collision, Rulio was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 9:59 a.m. by Dr. Guthikonda.
The incident remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the crash.
