Obituary: In Loving Memory of Crystal Giselle Peters
With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Crystal Giselle Peters, a devoted mother, loving wife, and dedicated professional. Crystal, aged 37, was taken from us in a senseless act of violence on July 27, 2024, in Reform Village, Gasparillo.
Crystal was born and raised in Marabella, where she lived on Battoo Avenue with her beloved family. She worked as a premium loans officer at Scotiabank in San Fernando, and her dedication to her job was matched only by her devotion to her family. Crystal and her husband, Tyrell Roberts, had been eagerly preparing to move into their new home in Reform Village by Christmas. They often visited the construction site on weekends with their two young daughters to check on the progress of the house.
On that fateful day, Crystal was at the construction site with her children when tragedy struck. Three men attacked and fatally wounded her, leaving her children to find her and alert a neighbor. The police are actively investigating the incident and seeking justice for Crystal.
Moreover, survived by her husband, Tyrell Roberts, and their two daughters, aged six and nine. In addition, leaves behind her heartbroken parents, Karen Mike and Victor Peters. In addition, numerous other relatives and friends who cherished her.
Crystal’s mother, Karen, and father, Victor, remember her as a private, family-oriented person who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a pillar of strength and kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her father, Victor, recalls how Crystal never carried cash and was exceptionally prudent with her finances, a testament to her background in accounting and education.
Her husband, Tyrell, fondly recalls their last conversation during a video call. Where Crystal was showing him the progress of their new home. Their love story began in 2010, and Tyrell remembers her as a loving partner who lived for her children.
Crystal’s passing is a profound loss to all who knew her. As we mourn her untimely departure. Moreover, we hold onto the memories of her vibrant spirit and the love she shared with everyone around her.
