Meet Your New Personal Trainer, Ai

In today’s world, people are becoming more conscious of their health and well-being and are committing more time to the gym every day. Some strive for six pack abs and tip-top conditioning, while some strive to emulate a body type similar to that of Arnold Scwharzenegger in his prime. However, these people often lack knowledge on how to properly train their bodies and struggle to find workout plans or affordable personal trainers, so they fail to see the results they desire. This is a problem that all too often leads to one either spending too much money on a personal trainer or abandoning their fitness goals, but thanks to AI, optimistic gym-goers will be able to achieve their goals.

Fitbod, an app created by Allen Chen and Jesse Venticinque provides its users with personalized workout plans that constantly evolve to specific user goals and progress. After a series of inputs on the consumers fitness goals, experience, body type, and access to equipment, the app creates a personalized program that displays type of exercises along with sets, reps, and weight to use, eliminating the mental hurdle of deciding what to do when you walk into the gym if you aren’t emptying your wallet by paying a personal trainer. It’s like having your own personal trainer in your pocket.

What sets Fitbod apart from other online fitness programs is that it uses a series of algorithms and machine learning to vary workouts in relation to volume, depending on past workouts, which maximizes results. Other online programs are static, fixed plans that don’t cater to specific users, and get boring after two to three weeks.

Programs such as these rarely produce results and have a low ceiling as far as client progress is concerned. Fitbod keeps working out interesting by varying workouts depending on the week, so users don’t get tired of the same exercises and are able make full use of all of the equipment at the gym, including barbells, machines, TRX equipment, and free weights. As you use the app, the AI gets to know you, and creates personalized workouts that will mold you into the fitness junkie you aspire to be.

Fitbod may soon undercut personal trainers, creating an environment in which you will see gym rats referencing their phones in between sets to realize muscular and cardiovascular gains. You can either choose to pay $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year, keeping money in your pocket while simultaneously keeping you in shape. Fitbod is the future of working out.
