Anthony McKoy Killeen Obituary
Detectives in Killeen have identified 51-year-old Jesse Miles and 35-year-old Anthony McKoy as the two men who tragically lost their lives following a shooting on the night of July 31. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Adams Avenue.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Jesse Miles suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately began life-saving measures. Paramedics quickly arrived and transported Miles to the Carl R. Darnall Army Community Hospital. Despite the efforts to save him, Miles succumbed to his injuries, and Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson pronounced him dead at 12:29 a.m. on August 1.
The Killeen community is mourning the loss of both men as detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
