Aakarsh Ramchandani is the Chief Strategy Officer at RavenPack, overseeing RavenPack’s strategic roadmap, investments and revenue generation initiatives.
Prior to this, Aakarsh was the Director of Data Strategy & Product at Third Point, a $20Bn event-driven hedge fund, where he built the data-driven insights team behind ThirdPoint’s portfolio of investments across asset classes. Aakarsh was previously Senior Product Manager at FactSet where he was responsible for re-architecting & launching FactSet’s web-based analytics platform servicing over 100,000 enterprise clients. In addition, he also conceived of and architected FactSet RBICS. Moreover, a novel industry classification system powering over $10Bn in ETF assets. Aakarsh came to FactSet from Revere Data, where he led their Sales & Products efforts and transformed the company into a high-margin alternative data business.
Aakarsh has a dual Bachelors in Computer Science and Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University. He is an advisor and board member to numerous data-driven technology firms including CausaLens, Poocho & Knoema Inc.
